Sandy Soler (pictured right), a student at the Graduate School of Social Service (GSS), was selected by the G7 organizing committee to attend the G7 University summit in Udine, Italy. Held from June 29 to 30, the summit focused on sustainability in higher education.
Soler was one of a select group of students who attended the distinguished meeting. Stephen Freedman, Ph.D., provost of Fordham University, was a speaker at the summit and served on a panel about global citizenship.
