Fordham GSS has been selected to receive this year’s Outstanding Educational Program Leadership Award at the 22nd Annual Latino Social Work Coalition and Scholarship Fund Annual Gala!
GSS was nominated by Maria Elena Girone, President Emeritus at the Latino Social Work Coalition and Scholarship Fund, Inc. and was chosen for its extraordinary leadership in commitment to the Latino community in the New York Metro Area.
The Annual Gala will be held in person on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Terrace on the Park. Other GSS community award recipients consist of Maria Guzman Herrera, who was named the 2022 Latino Social Work Coalition Scholarship recipient; and Harleny Vasquez, GSS ’18, who received the 2022 Emerging Social Work Trailblazer Leadership award.
