Carole Cox to Speak at London Antisemitism Conference

Fordham GSS Professor Carole Cox, Ph.D., is set to speak at this year’s 21st Century Antisemitism Conference, held by the London Centre for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism.

The conference will take place on September 11, 12, and 13. Cox will present as part of the Academic Engagement Network (AEN) panel on the 13th at 11 a.m. Her presentation is titled “Social Work and Antisemitism: The Pressing Need for Education.”

This is Cox’s most recent academic endeavor to address antisemitism in social work education. In January of 2021, Cox published a research article titled “Addressing Anti-Semitism in Social Work Education” in the Journal of Religion and Spirituality in Social Work: Social Thought, and is currently co-facilitator of the NASW-NYS’ Jewish Social Workers Special Interest Group alongside Clinical Professor Dana Marlowe, Ph.D.
