Fordham GSS Associate Professor Binta Alleyne-Green is set to speak to Columbia Health on November 9 at 11:30 a.m. as a part of its Relationship Violence Awareness Month event series.
Alleyne-Green will give a presentation titled “The Intersection of Reproductive Justice and Gender-Based Violence: A Discussion on the Impact of Violence on the Reproductive Health of Black Women.” Participants will engage in conversations that will deepen their understanding of the connections between, gender-based violence, healthcare disparities, and other racial injustices that impact the reproductive health of Black women.
