Fulfilling her role as a licensed master social worker, Bianca is currently a school social worker, fee for service therapist, and founder of the 501(c)(3) organization Beyond the Block NYC.
Beyond the Block NYC’s mission is to provide inner-city youth with academic support, mentoring, enrichment activities, experiences, and opportunities to go “beyond the block” in hopes to reduce violence and promote positive youth development. She was also a recipient of the NYC Office of Neighborhood Safety Grant in August of 2021.
Beyond the Block NYC is actively looking for volunteers and sponsors. Anyone interested in volunteering and facilitating a workshop or program can contact info@beyondtheblocknyc.org.
