The Graduate School of Social Service is proud to honor two of our GSS Community members for their appointment as board members for the NASW.
Fordham Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) student Supriya Chabria, GSS ’25, was named a student Member-at-Large on the NASW-NYC Chapter board. Supriya, who previously held a career in market research, is in her final year of the M.S.W. program and currently serves as a GSS student ambassador. Additionally, Fordham GSS Assistant Director of Field Education Ancy Lewis, LCSW, has been appointed to the NASW board of directors as a NASW Region III – New York State director. Ancy obtained an M.S.W. from New York University. With over 23 years of extensive experience, she has worked with adults, children, families, child welfare, mental health, and older adults.
