Graduate School of Social Service Associate Professor and Doctoral Program Director G. Lawrence Farmer, Ph.D., will join NASW President Mildred C. Joyner on June 4 for a conversation on Race and Social Work.
The live panel discussion, titled “The Impact of Race on Social Work Leaders” will premiere at 1 p.m. ET on the NASW’s Facebook page. One of the main topics of conversation will be the murder of George Floyd, which took place on May 25, 2020, as well as the personal and professional reflections of social work leaders since that day.
