CSWE Interviews GSS Doctoral Student Anna Ortega-Williams

Anna Ortega-Williams, LMSW, Minority Fellowship Program Fellow and GSS PhD student, spoke to the Council on Social Work Education recently about what the program means to her. She currently works with the Red Hook Initiative as director of training and evaluation, supervising and supporting staff and social work interns working in the community and overseeing evaluation of program services.

After degree completion Anna plans to engage in teaching, research, and community consultation focused on social change designed to enhance well-being and mental health services in minority communities.
